SBS in Australia broadcasts the real Abu Ghraib footage the US
government will not allow you to see.

*February 16, 2006*

On Wednesday 16 February 2006, Australian public broadcaster SBS current
affairs program DATELINE telecast a segment featring 60 new photos of
the torture inflicted on prisoners in the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.
These photos were secured by court order - the ACLU figures prominently
in the report - but these photos haven't yet been shown in the media
anywhere in the United States. Because of the broadcast on SBS, you now
have access to both Web-downloadable versions and BitTorrent
file-sharing network versions of the broadcast on this site.

There is nothing pretty about war. Its the ugliest part of life. People get tortured. Women and children get blown apart. Animals get shot for target practice. Homes, schools, hospitals and businesses are bombed and destroyed. Fear, terror, misery and suffering are everywhere.

I don't think anyone needs to see more. The first round of pics and videos were despicable enough and clearly proved the reality of cruelty man inflicts upon his fellow man.

The world and mankind are fucked up. Always have been. Wars and torture have been with us since the beginning of civilization and will be with us forever, and probably even more so as Earth's limited resources become more diminished as the population continues to grow out of control.

Imagine what its going to be like when there are 20 Billion of us living in the sandbox.

I'll think about this next time the arabs murder some kids . .

There's more than enough space for at least another 20 billion people on this planet, also the World is more than capable of producing enough food for at least another 20 billion people as well.

Finding a working mechanism of distributing food and resources is where the problem is, with the money the Europeans and the Americans are spending on ice cream or on their pets, you can save the lives of probably hundreds of thousands of children in Africa.

LOL, what brand of weed are you smoking? I'm not talking about space. I said resources. With just 6 Billion people we have over 1 Billion malnourished already.

You need land to create crops. That is a limited resource unless someone figures out how to turn deserts, mountains and ice packs into productive farming land.

The US alone kills 8 Billion animals per year to feed itself. That's 27 million animals each day. And we're only 5% of the world's population so multiply by 15 to 20 for the whole planet.

At 20 Billion people the annual animal kill rate will have to go to 1 Billion animals killed each day. Work out the logistics on that resource demand.

What's gonna happen with oil consumption skyrocketing and the base resource diminishing? There's only so much oil in the ground and the demand keeps rising.

Then you need fresh water for not only the people increases but all the support increases, again such as farming, animals, industrial uses, etc.

Christ almighty the Muslims just issued an edict for Islamic followers to no longer call them "Danish" Pastries and instead pastries are to be called Roses of the Prophet Mohammed. WTF. All because of a cartoon?? Imagine if something really serious arises out of all the faith based conflicts in the world.

Sorry, but I see too many people here already, and just chaos and hostilities in the decades ahead as we have more people and less resources.

I believe that something will occur to help cull some of this growth, via some pandemic or large scale war/terrorist event.
