bought me self a plasma!
 
Went to costco and picked up a Vizio 50" plasma.. P50 anyone else have one of these? can't wait to move into the new house on saturday and get this baby fired up! :)

same , never heard of it , it'll probably die within a few months , better off staying away from those "no-name" brands
nothing but problems , and when it does die , getting it fixed will cost you a shitload

costco has a warranty/policy that said if your not happy with the product/just dies you can take it back full refund. www.vinc.com

$2600 .. they say if your watching 480 it sucks because it will upscale everything to 720 HD is very good though but SD channels are not all that hot.

I only plan to use it for Dvds, and HD directTV and my xbox360 local tv i have a HD antenna so i'm not a a huuuge loss for things.

The name isn't the only indicator of quality.

From what I was told by a friend who was formerly in the Plasma TV business is that many of the major manufacturers utilize shared internal components.

I've heard of Vizio and seen them at Costco. I'm sure it will serve you just fine. Congrats.

Blu-Ray is on the doorstep, so be sure you buy a screen that can handle the 1920x1080 pixels :)
