Yeah, people are blowing this shit way out of proportion. If he was just an everyday Joe, charges still would not be pressed on him. I think the only thing the press is really pissed off about is a little paper in Corpus Christi got the scoup before they did.

I'm really getting tired of hearing 'thousands of these accidents happen each year', it is complete bullshit.

The fact is it is not that common, in the year 2002 there were 20,000,000 total hunters and these are the stats:
850 total accidents (all types)
761 non-fatal accidents
89 fatal accidents
514 two-party accidents

Jace, for about 40 years or so, the republican party has been holding a certain car accident over the Kennedy family's head. Hundreds of thousands of car accidents happen every year, and as much as they dislike Ted K, let it the fuck go.

But they don't.

It isn't a question of a hunting accident, every knows they happen. The question is really this:

1) Why didn't the VP report the accident himself, and why wasn't he on the scene to meet with police when it happened?
2) Why is there an eye witness who didn't see anything?
3) Why is there another person in the hunting party that hasn't been revealed?
4) Why did it take Cheney a couple of days to get around to talk to the police?
5) How much booze was involved?
6) Why was POTUS not informed?
7) Why has Cheney's only interview been on the state mouthpiece news station, Fox?

... and most importantly...

WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY REALLY HIDING?

Nobody cares around the hunting accident - but the whole world wonders why they are doing some a major coverup job on a common hunting accident?
