Funny, humans are much less intelligent under water as well. Strange how not being able to breathe affects the mind like that.
actually dolphins breathe air. But even if you could breathe underwater, your skills of speech would be a bit limited. Look what happens to humans in space.

I know that, as do whales... but they still can't survive out of water.
lol -- I did NOT post that -- only the global warming bit. But it's hard to tell cuz my formatting priviliges (even blockquote -- wtf) have been suspended. lol -- i am such a fish outta water

I was thinking the same thing, although dolphins are air-breaters. How are dolphins supposed to communicate with their sonar on dry land? Humans have the tendency of anthropomorphizing everything.
So long, and thanks for all the fish
So sad that it should come to this
We tried to warn you all, but, oh, dear
You may not share out intellect
Which might explain your disrespect
For all the natural wonders that grow around you
So long, so long, and thanks for all the fish!
The world's about to be destroyed
There's no point getting all annoyed
Lie back and let the planet dissolve around you
Despite those nets of tuna fleets
We thought that most of you were sweet
Especially tiny tots and your pregnant women
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long! So long, so long, so long, so long, so long! So long, so long, and thanks for all the fish!
If I had just one last wish
I would like a tasty fish!
If we could just change one thing
We would all have learnt to sing!
Come one and all
Man and mammal
Side by side
In life's great gene pool!
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long and thanks for all the fish!
Though most scientists and many laypeople acknowledge Global Warming, there is considerable debate over its effects and the timing of those effects. As usual, it's a lot easier not to care and not to act, because you don't have the data with which to answer the questions.
Will the Earth be flooded?
When will the the Earth be flooded?
How much of the Earth will be flooded?
All these questions are hard to answer, especially when no one wants to answer them or see them answered.
A more practical set of questions comes from taking a look at who is in control of the Dams and the Dykes --
Self-fulfilling prophecy, inescapbale scientific fact or just a nutty rant? You decide --
One things for sure, any of you who own "bait and tackle" shops are in a position to retool quickly and become communications services companies -- -- this industry may be short-lived, but very, very vigorous!
