When asked today why Katharine Armstrong was appointed to inform the world that he'd shot a man in the face, he said:

But when Katharine Armstrong was asked by the AP, she said that she'd not seen the shooting; she'd only seen Cheney's security detail running toward the scene: "The first thing that crossed my mind was he had a heart problem"
