Any ePassporte reps online? this is bs.

"You cannot transfer funds to another account if your account is less than 3 days old."

Why isnt the slogan for the site "Sign up now! you too can send money online only taking 1-2 days longer then normal bank to bank transfers!"?

Jarmusch 02-15-2006 08:34 PM

What do you expect the reps to do? Change that rule just for you?

comeplay 02-15-2006 08:36 PM

their phone customer service said it should be ready to send once the virtual visa is charged.

must be a new method to prevent fraud.. good idea on their part.. it only takes second after the first 3 days so i cant see what the hurry is..

I agree! The more fraud protection the better. If it were up to me I require telephone verification/credit card scan/finger printing and then some..

yeah really why dont they require me to drive to the guys house and shake his hand first before they send him the money? I mean 3 days I could drive to most of the people I would send money to.

just good business practice actually sucks but in the long run it's a good thing

I wasn't aware of this but like already mentioned its probably put in place to prevent fraud.
I apologize for the trouble this is causing you but sadly it seems to be necessary to prevent fraud.

the lady on the phone support stated they were just having a bit of problems this wasn't permanent and to "wait a little while and log out and back in a few times" but she said it should be ready to send.

HorseShit 02-15-2006 10:02 PM

interesting, that would be annoying having a 3 day wait period before you can send money

Murderous 02-15-2006 10:07 PM

Yes, this is not normal, I have had clients that didn't have epassporte sign up, load the account via CC and send to my account within hours. Some even minutes.

It is either temporary, or new.

Phoenix 02-15-2006 10:09 PM

perhaps they can fix it for you tomorrow when the techs are on

comeplay 02-15-2006 10:15 PM

i wouldn't be so mad if they didnt give me some bs "give it an hour or two and try logging out and back in a few times " etc excuse after a 10 minute "umm ill check" hold with her. There must be a setting or something for them to change to allow me to send obviously the money is there they took it out of my bank account already

Validus 02-16-2006 01:44 AM

As long as I get my epassporte card this week... I am happy :)

comeplay 02-16-2006 01:55 AM

i would just be happy to be able to send my trapped money to another persons epass account, seems simple enough.

V_RocKs 02-16-2006 03:41 AM

Michael O 02-16-2006 07:39 AM
