who knows how to do this in photoshop
checking to see if anyone knows how this was done and how I can do it,
I did some photos yesterday on my horse, someone edited one of the pics and will not tell me how she did this to my dress see how the dress looks like it is commming apart or what ever it is doing...how would I do this to the original picture, I think its cool and want to try to make a poster of it http://www.landofvenus.com/dance/feathers.jpg. |
It looks to me like she used the clone tool from parts of the dress on the right and varied the opacity of the brush as she faded the patterns out to the left.
Just a guess but thats what it looks like to me. Cool picture btw :thumbsup |
thanks, I will try that and see if I can duplicate what she did... I like that picture allot.

There are a number of ways to produce an effect like this. I could be wrong, but I don't think that this particular one was done with the smoke filter. Venus, do you know about how long it took your friend to do this? |
I messed around with the original pic and got very similar results using a combo of the airbrush tool..switching out brush textures, sizes and white and a medium grey color..then set the blur tool to about 10% and went over selected areas..I didnt spend but about 5 mins on it..but it came out very similar..I'm sure I could reproduce the effect exactly if I spent a little more time on it.
