I think you would, it's quite simple, different people get upset by different stuff.

Sure, but the thing is that there are VERY religious areas in the US, and there are US papers that print all kinds of stuff, when people get offended, then they go and protest, or boycott, or do whatever they do within the confines of civil behavior to make their point. This isn't just burning down embassies, this is burning down ALL kinds of places, murdering people, etc...
I'm not allowed to kill people if a local paper runs pics of my girlfriend, and I certainly wouldn't be encouraged to do so by my community leaders. This cartoon was only published in Denmark. The middle east papers all picked it up and ran with it, in order to incite this over the top reaction.
If it was Blasphemous for the Danish paper to run it, why wasn't it blasphemous for the middle east papers to reprint it?
