Isn't hunting more fun when you're drunk anyways? j/k LOL

G-Rotica 02-15-2006 01:01 PM

Nothing like alcohol and firearms. Throw in some tobacoo and you have a government entity.

LOL! since when is hunting only for the mighty and powerful???

...as for the alcohol report, the press is just so pissed off that they weren't clued in on this first; and that a small town local paper got called first instead, so it took the scoop; that they'll say ANYTHING to make it a bigger scandal:2 cents:

seeric 02-15-2006 01:19 PM

if he was just a normal joe schmo, he'd be ridin pine in the local jail until they figured out what to charge him with. things that he could be legally charged with.

-discharging a firearm and causing injury
-failure to report the accident (hospitals are supposed to report gunshot accidents on arrival anyhow)
-leaving the scene of an accident
-tampering with evidence
-the list could go on depending what the rest of the circumstances are.

Hardly. Read the actual reports. I live in an area that has hunting accidents constantly. Like this one, most are caused by the one who got hurt doing something stupid and/or not following basic hunting rules.

Most of the "laws" you have him breaking don't even apply in this situation.

I was in the dentist's office yesterday with about 5 hunters and they were all laughing about what a fool the guy who got shot is.

Oh please, just because someone disagrees with your viewpoints politically?

There are plenty of things that I disagree with in terms of the present administration.... overspending, not being strong enough about increasing tax cuts, not securing our borders, especially with Mexico..... the list goes on and on.

I do find it interesting that every Democrat that I talk to is so against tax cuts, but for some reason they all look for deductions on their taxes, hire accounts in order to get more back, try to find loopholes, etc.... (instead of just filing a 1040EZ form and paying the maximum.) It's almost like they are saying that everyone should pay more taxes, EXCEPT for them.:2 cents:

im not a repub or a demo...im CDN and i pay enough taxes

i just think it is odd how no matter what...some people...not just you Mike...but some people will never drop their belief system.

if the sun rose at midnight it seems that many would still deny it

guess what..your freedom has been taken away and you are not aware of it...that is the scary part to me...history repeats itself

Sunday bloody sunday

tony286 02-15-2006 01:51 PM

I heard shooting like that they are supposed to take blood from the shooter. I wonder if they did

KRL 02-15-2006 01:53 PM

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 02-15-2006 03:06 PM

Cheney needs to just die of a mother fucking heart attack.

Thought he was all fucked up in the throws of death and all of sudden he is out hunting and drinking with buddies.

WTF...

I am dissapointed in him being able to do anything right which includes just keeling over and giving the world a break.

Just die already bitch facist pig.

While i agree most of the laws prob dont apply that he mentioned , i also happen to live in the area , and hunting accidents do happen but they dont get reported like they do.. usually everyone is at the hospital if someone was injured , police respond and file a report.. thats not what happened.. this isn't the "usual" case..

Not sure if you have ever hunted before , but you ALWAYS know where EVERYONE within ditance to get shot is.. ALWAYS, no exceptions.. he fucked up ( not that people dont fuckup ) , but for a hunter to say the victim in this case was "foolish" is ignorant.. i certainly wouldnt be hunting with that sort of person.. its like blaming someone who got hit by a car on a sidewalk for not paying attention.. when your walking along a sidewalk there are deadly vehicles very close by , you dont expect them to come flying off the road in your direction.. sure you could be paying more attention , but def not your fault.. he basically broke the cardinal rule of hunting ( dont shoot your friends )

At least your not BITTER about it!:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

(seriously though... you sound like a wackjob. Wishing death on someone that you don't agree with politically? Seems to me that the facist would be the one that wants anyone that doesn't follow their point of view to die. It's a democracy for goodness sake, when the term is up you can do your best to vote in whatever left wing wacko you want.)

LittleMack 02-15-2006 04:21 PM

Watching his interview now and says only had one beer hours b4 the incident

I agree with you, dont wish death on anyone...alot in this country want peace but they are the first to threaten or wish harm to those that dont agree with them.

devilspost 02-15-2006 04:30 PM

So the idiot was drunk on a hunting trip with his girlfriend and shot his buddy.

I think the Sheriff should have gone to a Judge and got a warrant when he was turned away from the gate Saturday night.

BINGO.

I honestly think they are more affriad of the girlfriend info going mainstream than the alcohol. " If I say I had one beer, they will get in an uproar and not ask why a female represenative from Switzerland was on this trip with us."

I've been hunting since I was 12 years old.

The guy who pulls the trigger is always at fault. Their isn't a skilled hunter in this country who would disagree with this.

So whatever hunters you were talking to were fakers. probably the type who buy a new rifle, a bottle of booze, and sit in a hunting cabin all season long.

WME 02-15-2006 04:59 PM

I wanna see a Dick Cheney mug shot (although we know its impossible)

Actually it's more like blaming someone for hitting someone who walked into the street in front of them. :thumbsup

not really , you cant avoid hitting someon who walks in front of a car, walking in the street is not part of normal walking.. walking while hunting IS a normal procedure. its always the shooters responsibility to know where he is shooting..

heh... its all a bunch of bs, not matter who's in office nothing ever changes

however, I have been hunting and let me tell you, its not like pointing a broom. esp, when ppl aren't paying attention. its you are walking in the woods you will be most likely walking though underbrush b/c thats where birds hide and you hear the flush, your adrenaline is pumping you shoot.. there wasn't supposed to be a guy there.. I blame the person getting shot, he should of stayed with the group insted he fell behind and got shot. maybe they are all too old to hunt :2 cents:
