Can someone explain to me why when you try to save a movie off a FHG of yours you randomly get nekid.net.html which is just a goddamn redirect to http://nekid.net?

man pick one, doesnt seem to matter, was going to add them to a mgp, while making thumbs i noticed that once, blew it off thinking something fucked up somewhere, made a few more thumbs, happened again, 20 more fhg's later im on goddamn nekid.net again.

reload the same fhg urls again, try to save a movie, the fucking movie loads

Could it be that they use a 404 redirect for all their free hosted galleries, and that some movie links are just broken?

It's probably an htaccess type of hotlinking protection.

As in, if you load the video from the gallery, it recognizes the refering url and plays it. If you try to save it or load it from anywhere that sends either no referal or an incorrect one... you get the html file.

I have found several FHG's that were missing LOTS of images/movies linked from thumbs, and they ALL *surprise*surprise* have a 404 redirect. Not one goes to a default text 404, so it indicates theft/cheating/shaving/callitwhatyouwant.

And trust me when I say this... YOU WILL BE SURPRISED AT WHICH SPONSORS DO THIS!

except when ya save movies your getting it from THEIR urls. and it's always only 1 movie on the fhg it happens on, reload the same url and the same movie link starts working so it's not 404'd movies either.

I must be missing something, cause I just did exactly what you said with 10 different movie galleries, and clicked every movie in every one, and it didn't happen once

What's actually happening here is that he tried to save the movie locally so he could make his own thumbs, and the file he saved redirects to nekid.htm.. He's not saying the galleries themselves redirect or anything like that, only when attempting to link or save the target directly, this is why several people ase stating this is likely to be hot link protection

right click and save as, not sure if it does it any other way, but ill try it just loading them win wmp

edit: actually it cant matter, when I was saving them and it'd try to save nekid.net.html, i'd close that, click on what i just tried to dl and get tossed over to nekid.net

whatever though, it sounds more like DRM than hotlink if the video file is actually redirecting

I tried right clicking all kinds of ways and reloading the galleries and I can't duplicate here in firefox.

im checking this now, looks like it has something to do with the anti hotlinking script. Trust me, last thing we want is to send FHG traffic to some free site. Im getting in touch with AHL programmors to see the dilli. does it stream at least?!

Mistakes happen dude...chill...they have no reason to do this on purpose.

I'm quite chilled, I wasnt sending traffic yet, just making thumbs to load into mgp's, didn't effect me other then the time to make the few thumbs I did.

this wasnt installed in-house, this was installed by the script owner. I sent an email and an ICQ and waiting on a response. We are now sending all hotlinking traffic to a blank page.

Might be me, but an adult url with KID in it doesn't look very smart to me..Many processors/banks ban url's with that word...

But if a surfer tries to WATCH the movie.... it works flawlessly...

Ummm... I don't see the traffic leak here.... Any surfer who wanted to download the movie wasn't going to buy porn... And even if they did intent to, the movie doesn't have your link in it anyway... They are going to just be a typein...
