If you have Trillian, there is a chance you may need to do an upgrade. I have been reading that there are some issues. I guess there is an update for the AIM and ICQ part of it.

So, while you may think I am ignoring you, I am not. I see your messages, but you do not see my response.

Well, you must have a different version. I know I have had a few people that are trying to talk to me that are obviously not seeing my response.

i have the paid version and mine prompted me when i started to have issues. same thing happened to me, people couldnt see me typing responses.

Trillian is evil, all webmasters should stick with icq, the communication problems sometimes lead to drama threads and calling people out.

forget about trillian, ICQ, AIM and whatnot

had the same problem with miranda... had to update my icq.dll

the pro version updates automatically

I did the upgrade and still for about an hour last night people couldn't see my reply ..:(

I wonder, how many people really use the pro version?

You need an IQ of at least 15 to install it without problems :winkwink:

yup, first thing in the morning when I loaded it up, it gave me the update to aim/icq :thumbsup

that's because they hadn't upgraded theirs.

It's a receiving issue.. so you received theirs since you upgraded, they didn't see yours becaue they didn't.

yea, it's really smart to use a hacked version of a business tool you use daily :thumbsup

I had the same problem earlier this week, I was sending ICQ's into Never Never Land and wasn't receiving mine either. I manually checked for the upgrade and now it's business as usual.

Lol, I paid for mine, thank you very much. I bought the origional Trillian Pro 1.1 when it came out. My only bitch is that I've had to purchase it 3 times now because the old versions are no longer supported =-(

We use the Pro version and ours did not automatically update

In the preferences, under "installation and start up"... there's a check box for "check for updates" :winkwink:

Yes I had the same problem - people just dont reply and dont get your message if they havent upgraded. If you close out Trillian it should automatically give you an upgrade available notice.

Thanks for the info. My trillian pro has been messed up for days now. Downloading patch.

Pro3 here. New problem with the patch today. Cant add any new icq contacts. Trying a sokution that was mentioned on the trillian forums of installing again overtop.

installing over top did work, and it didn't ask me for my pro info again.:thumbsup

It seems that maybe it has fixed itself. I am running version 2.013 Pro if anyone wants to test theirs out. Feel free to message me:)

Your messages were received by the person with ICQ, you just were not seeing their response (most likely).
