Also I know you all seem to think you need to have an affiliate program and people promoting your site to make money, but thats not true. You can easily make really good money without having an affiliate program, but it all comes down to what you know and how you do it.

affiliate program does not equal success, it only means your overhead has increased.
success is by keeping most of your money. Learn to advertise your site yourself, exchange links with like type sites, experiment with traffic sources, you will make more, then when you know what you are doing and making a nice little piece of change, start an affiliate program.
This about this, if you dont know how to market yoursite yourself, how are you going to help affiliates market it or give them advice.
