Actually it was my fiance that got into the accident.

The short story:
Vegas freeway construction, 17 year old driver in front of her, car in front of her slammed on the brakes, mini pileup and my fiance is 4'11" with slow reactions and legs too short to push the pedal down all the way in a quick burst. :1orglaugh

Anyways, waiting on the estimate. Hopefully it's not too bad, but BMW's aren't the cheapest cars to fix. :Oh crap

The main thing is that she's ok...Material items can always be replaced. :)

A black eye and a few bruised ribs will heal too. :winkwink:

Luckilly the car is not too bad to fix. $8k in damages (mostly cosmetic and the radiator).

My uncle did pass away yesterday though, so that it a bit of a blow to us. Services are Tuesday, so it's a bit of a bumpy time.

Looks like it'll definitly be an interesting birthday for me this year though. At least I'll be able to spend it with a lot of you in Costa Rica. :)
