I loved his book, "Jaws." His other stuff never really caught on with me, except for "The Deep." That was decent. He had a bunch of other stuff that turned into made for TV movies.

But it was all about "Jaws" man. A massive sensation.

Beats being eaten alive by a shark I bet.

Must admit, never read his books. Jaws though was inspirational.

Didn't he die a day or 2 ago? Hardly news, let him RIP.

BTW, he was also a speechwriter for LBJ when he was president, a little trivia.

I recall, but forgot, hearing something like that about him years ago. I also recall Bill Moyers was a speech-writer for LBJ as well.

that's just sad to hear. Jaws has fascinated most in our generation
