Relish XXX 02-13-2006 10:35 PM

Pretty mad if you told the first owner of that car that people would be bragging about owning it nearly 30 year later via a world wide network of computers called the Internet they would have laughed and told you that you were mad.

Yeah, that's the powder blue T-Bird

Theo 02-13-2006 10:40 PM

looks pretty clean, must have passed through good owners

Theo 02-13-2006 10:42 PM

you should adjust seats by adding wtf is called that...for your head protection. Even minor accidents can turn to fatal ones with this kind of seats.

Yeah the low seats without head rests can make what would be simple whip lash into a broken neck. Although I doubt he will do it as I suppose he wants to keep it orginal. I dont like low seats as I like to sit back.

MikeVega 02-13-2006 11:42 PM

I have to say that's pretty nice ... congrats ..:thumbsup

p1mpdogg 02-14-2006 12:14 AM

i wonder if i replace with some nice bucket seats and keep the original bench seat it will devalue the car? do they make kits or something to replace these seats with safer ones without punching a bunch of holes in the car?

also, i want to replace the wheels with those nice mag wheels they had

LexiLexxx 02-14-2006 12:29 AM

Looks super nice!

I know I would hit something, as I have never driven a car that big.

je_rome 02-14-2006 12:37 AM

Yes, there are seat convesion kits that you can buy that bolt into the original locations and have modified rails that bolt to newer seat configurations.

GigoloJustin 02-14-2006 12:41 AM

I guess statement.. I meant it looks totally original the type of car one put in storage.
I would buy it and drive it too.. But if you want to get one to really beat and and beef up prolly better to get one not that clean..

yea, i wont be doing anything to this car but the wheels and maybe seats and it needs a radio i can mount in the trunk.. a weekend car, or something to just cruise in every now and then.. other than that it will sit in my garage and i will hold it and kiss it and snuggle it and treat it like my own kid

Sure no problem. There is a place that I know of that has everything you will need and they have good prices. They have taken care of me of a few of my past classics. Let me go look through my records and I'll get you the info. Until then here's a place to start:

Yeah, that was the only link I had bookmarked for quick reference. In the 2 cars the I put aftermarket seats in, I went with Recaro seats. They are expensive, but very comfortable. As soon as I find the info and link to that Classics/GTO place I'll post it here for you.

sickbeatz 02-14-2006 01:23 AM

right on. that's one nice car bro.
to be honest, i'm jealous. lucky bastard. go fuck yourself, lol.

Yngwie 02-14-2006 01:30 AM

that car kicks ass. Wish I had one of those.

newbreed 02-14-2006 01:31 AM

Whatever ever happened to that beautiful classic truck EC gave away a couple of years ago for a promo? That thing was hot!

modeljenhilton 02-14-2006 02:32 AM

That's a fuckin' awesome ride! You have very good taste.
