How do I turn a hotlinker into traffic? Help, ...

I had htaccess to deny hotlinking, but for some reason it stopped working & somebody is hotlinking every fucking image on my site , every image is getting 3-5k each.. How can I make that into traffic???????

If he is referring to true 'hotlinking', that will accomplish nothing but bad ratios with your sponsor, and unecessary server load for the sponsor.

IMO, either give them the red x by denying them completely, or show an image with your URL on it via htaccess.

There was a thread recently where somebody was selling traffic that was generated via redirecting hotlinkers to a page.. that's what I was looking for.

I tried blocking them completely, but somethings wrong & the htaccess I had in place isnt working. It worked fine when I added it, but for some reason, it's fucking up. Anyway, I was hoping I could somehow redirect all this to an actual page

Set your htaccess to redirect all hotlinks to an image you created. You could put "To see this image visit: http://www.mysite.com" or something of that nature.
