This damn company has the #1 and 2 spot for all my keywords. The damn site aint even adult related
http://dns2go.deerfield.com/status/i...de.dynodns.net Thus pushing my links to second page what a decreaase in traffic:Oh crap Anyone else having this problem? |
It's always been that way.:2 cents:
|
no it hasnt always been that way , and yes they are... not the sponsored links but the real links are being swapped and sold.. its supposed to only be with the site owners consent though , so you can get it stopped i believe

do a gfy search for "wildline" you will see some threads about this

i think its a rather pathetic way to sift traffic though , because from my view the companies only exist to sell already existing traffic back to the owner..
I suppose its a smart idea , but thats rather hard to judge.. i think site owners get fooled into thinking they are somehow "gaining " traffic that didnt exist.. when likely all that happens is their search engine traffic vanishes and they get a new whale onboard = lost profit |
its like a guy who offers to get you customers if you give him a percentage, then he goes to the phone company tells them to switch your phone number to his phone number , then he sells all the customers back to you..
|
and my example isn't so silly, that has/does happen nowadays with the yello wpages

Oh I know, I lost a whole bunch of organic listings to wildline. Its smart really, they pay Yahoo a fortune for these great listings and these sponsor companies will cave since they become a whale on an immense level. If I could have made the deal with Yahoo directly, I would have as well... WG |
