Bad day on the slopes
Canadian Allison Forsyth's Olympic dreams came to an abrupt end on Monday after she became one of four women to crash during training for the women's downhill.
The Nanaimo, B.C., native suffered a torn ACL in her left knee and was airlifted to nearby Sestriere. Earlier in the day, American gold medal contender Lindsey Kildow crashed badly on her downhill training run moments after the defending Olympic champion of France was carried off the hill on a sled. Wow bad luck! Three top contenders..out |
Atleast you have top contenders in hospital. We dont evem have any top contenders at all.

Damn that sucks

Take quite a while to recover from a torn ACL. Alot of times its a career-ending injury.

Talk about ouch
|
that's just depressing for the athletes

Those girls are probably insane with fury right now... at least Hannah Teeter is still in the games...GO USA!
|
Ouch.. That's some pain. :(
|
Damn, that sucks. It's more than just pain from that fractured knee she's feeling right now. :(
|
Not like we were a threat but she was a favourite to win atleast a silver
