Google's new AdWords Editor

Google sent us an invite to test out their new desktop AdWords Editor last week. I must say that I like this new desktop editor a lot better than their online manager.

Have any of you got a chance to try this editor out, and what do you think about it?

Interesting. Didnt know it existed. Would be nice to see a running total or something in the taskbar I guess.

I wasn't invited :(

Maybe I'm not important enough.

Google keeps putting stuff out and not giving enough publicity about it...

shuki 02-13-2006 01:32 PM

They never like to promote betas too hard.

I could use an invite, I'm on their "list" at least. :/

wedouglas 02-13-2006 02:23 PM

I spend a decent amount. No invite here :/

WiredGuy 02-13-2006 06:06 PM

I'll trade you an MSN invite for an adwords desktop invite, lol.

I spend 1k/day there and didn't even get an invite, not that I would've used it anyway.

Gottis 02-13-2006 07:09 PM

Why not? Are you using some other backend software for Adwords?

BoyAlley 02-13-2006 07:10 PM

Does it collect personal information about you from your desktop and then transfer it to one of google's data storage facilities for quick and convenient governmental access down the road?

Sorry, but I just don't trust Big Google anymore.....

thanks! looks pretty neat, if it's fast. Is it any more realtime then the web version? Would be nice if they were realtime stats.

It's not in realtime. You need to download and upload the changes you make.

Wanna toss me an invite? I wouldn't mind trying that out.

Basic_man 02-16-2006 08:41 AM
