NATS question

I was told 2 different things... just want to make sure who is right

the E-Mail Option checkbox, Please do not send any mailings to me- I was told this will only turn off sales notifications, but not newsletters. can anyone confirm this?

Hi,

this depends a bit on the admin of NATS. NATS will allow the admin setting up a newsletter to NOT send it to opt-out people, but it will also let them send one to everyone. We make this configurable by the admin so that the admin can still send emergency mails to everyone if need be.
