Certain unless something insane happens and I bet it happens sooner rather than later. Especially as there is no general election involved with him taking over if Tony goes in the next year or so.

He is missing a major vote tonight - again.

adultchica 02-13-2006 03:44 AM

I had never heard of him until you started this thread....

FallenAngel 02-13-2006 04:09 AM

Relish XXX 02-13-2006 05:25 AM

MrChips 02-13-2006 05:43 AM

Sarah,

My two cents. (im in the uk)

Hes a snivelling honking asshole.

He thinks about NOTHING but his own family.

He disgusts me.

MrChips

Mefo 02-13-2006 05:51 AM

yeah I heard his name drop a few times

Libertine 02-13-2006 05:56 AM

Brown will be PM for a few years after Blair steps down, and will then get his ass kicked by Cameron in the next elections. He might as well quit politics now and at least save his dignity.

Could be but I doubt it. The Torries have a way of kicking out leaders before than have an actual chance to win (personal note: thank god).

I'm not a particular fan of Brown but he will be Prime Minister soon.

swedguy 02-13-2006 06:50 AM

Does he work with James Bond?

back when I was at Comprehensive (High school) in UK (we're talking early/mid 90's here) my friend had a major (and I mean major) crush on Gordon Brown (then again she also had a big crush on Data from Star Trek :winkwink: )

So I know who he is and any time I hear his name I think of my friend and have to laugh :

As to whether he's useful or not, I don't have an opinion, but he IS Labour, so probly not :1orglaugh:upsidedow

I doubt I'd have heard of him if I hadn't lived in the UK though

:1orglaugh I haven't heard somebody do a parody of it yet with his name but I bet they do at some point.

His favorite word is 'prudence'. So, I have heard a spoof of Dear Prudence done for him.

G-Rotica 02-13-2006 12:16 PM

Gordon who?

Peacemaker 02-13-2006 12:17 PM
