Best Antivirus Software?

I currently use Norton....
I used AVX (bitdefender) back in the day.

I was looking into Panda or kaspersky

MikeVega 02-12-2006 10:42 AM

I like AVG ... it's free and I've never had any problems with it ..:thumbsup

Sosa 02-12-2006 10:48 AM

Inde 02-12-2006 10:50 AM

For free programs, AVG and avast are both good.

That is why I was wanting to change, I heard Norton was A big CPU load.
Wanted to remove it, and try something different..

You're surfing porn then Kaspersky is it. I'd add their Anti-Hacker Software to.

Then for grins have Adaware, Spybot, Hijackthis loaded and ready to go just incase.

If you're reviewing galleries, these and then some are a must.

And a rebuild is heavy on time! Switch back to IE if you're useing FireFox, it is quicker. BTW FireFox is safer too in additoinn to being slower. Atleast that's been my experience.

Damian_Maxcash 02-12-2006 03:19 PM

The Windows OneCare system from MicroSoft is great - only available in the US ATM but you can just use a proxy to get around that.

Free until May as well.....

McAffee paid version. It sucked a couple of years ago and Norton was da bomb
Now it's exactly the other way around. :2 cents:
