Do you have a contact for them?

RainGurl 02-12-2006 11:26 AM

just [email protected]

Forkbeard 02-12-2006 11:53 AM

I used 'em back in '04 -- they sold me a virtual hosting package they swore would be fine for one of my tiny little niche TGPs, and then once I got my traffic up to a palty 5k a day they told me I was using too many CPU resources and would have to lease a dedicated server.

Very lame, not recommended.

FunForOne 02-12-2006 01:32 PM

well, I need a contact pretty quick if anyone from cybehost is reading

FunForOne 02-13-2006 05:42 PM

anyone from cybehost?

LittleMack 02-13-2006 05:55 PM

The only ICQ number I have was from 2 years ago, Dru and it was 160 697 474 not sure if even with the company or not anymore

FunForOne 02-13-2006 06:02 PM

Yea, I think he is with the company, but he is unavailable. I dont have any other contacts.

Anyone know who owns them?

Thanks for the help by the way.

Have you heard from them?

woody 02-16-2006 08:34 PM

Got an email from Cybehost on 2/14 saying they'd be back up in just 1 more day. Todays 2/16, that's 2 days since the email and they're still unable to figure out how to plug their server in? They even had the guts to bill my account for another month of service. What kind of retards run CybeHost anyway? OOppps sorry, I don't mean retards - I mean crooks.

FunForOne 02-18-2006 07:33 AM

I"m sad to say that I dont think they are coming back. It seems their contact has dissapeared.

Looks like a fun day of setting up new hosting and rebuilding blogs. Make that a fun month of two.

FunForOne 02-18-2006 07:35 AM

I would like to add that until last week, I had stayed with cybehost because they bent over backwards to serve me and went above and beyond customer service.
I asked alot of dumb questions and they answered everyone of them.

I've been with them for years and wouldn't have ever thought about changing. It makes me sad that they cant get the sites back up.

chaze 02-19-2006 02:53 AM

If you hear from them, we would be interested in buying them out if they are shutting down. They can contact us here: http://dwhs.com/contact.htm

Well, it looks like they are making some progress since yesterday. Their main site is back up. The contact emails are on that page.

Hey! All my sites just re-appeared this morning! I don't have FTP yet, but everything seems to be running, and scripts are working. Too bad they can't email their customers and keep us up to date on what's going on. As with any type of business, customer communications is essential even if it's bad news. At least your customers arn't left wondering what the hells going on! CybeHost needs to learn this.

glad to hear it for you. I'm still waiting. Nothing yet

King Porn 02-21-2006 06:08 AM

Cybehost has been decent up until this problem. Over a week of downtime which is highly unacceptable. I cancelled my account with them.

woody 02-23-2006 08:58 PM

Anyone heard from CybeHost? My sites are running, their main site is running, but emails are being ignored. Very strange way to do business!
