Vixeo redirecting to Adultbouncer?
 
Is anyone else's Vixeo storefront getting redirected to an AdultBouncer signup page? :mad:

not only are the storefronts, the vixeo.com main page but also the webmaster login is also redirecting to the same adultbouncer pass sign up page...and guess what..my aff code is nowhere to be found..including on the pop up that send you the the main adult bouncer page when ya close the browser...there IS an affiliate code inserted, but it's not mine..I've been sitting in live support with one of the reps who hasnt responded now for at least 15 mins...

suffice it to say I'm done promoting Vixeo..no confidence in a company that inserts someone else's aff code...no matter what the excuse is for the redirect..even if its a glitch.

We had a DoS attack todayu and tried to apply a new module to our webservers and it didnt work out to well.

We tried to add some IP rate limiting to the machines.

I am very sorry about that hiccup.

We've removed the module until further testing.

113 is a default ID code we use.

Vixeo was not supposed to redirect to AB so its not able to understand what ID code your sending to it since its two different platforms.

Since your store was a VXxxxxx ID # and it redirected to AB it didnt know who was sending it traffic and defauled to AB ID 113 which is default.

What is your AIM or ICQ or MSN contact info i can explain.

I'm also curious why your live help person didnt know this to tell me?

I have the screen cap of the convo if ya wanna see it..Im not here to cause drama I just wanted to know if it was just happening to me or anyone else...but Im sure as hell not going to promote a company that inserts someone elses aff code...there is NO excuse for that

BTW it should be corrected now.

Please let me know if it isnt. We've removed the application that was causing the problem.

Vixeo and AB run off the same cluster of machines and when we installed the application all traffic went to our primary host which was adultbouncer.com on the servers because it made all other hosts in our configuration disappear. (it a configuration thing with Apache).

We never intended for this to happen, so if you think it was deliberate its far from that.

We had a DoS attack today where someone was hammering our servers on port 80 and it killed a few machines so we tried to react to quickly to put a stop to it. We filtered the IPs for now until we can find a better solution.

I messaged support on MSN and got a pretty quick response.

no I went to YOUR live chat on adult bouncer and spoke with YOUR live rep Mary Taylor..she basically left me hangging for over 15 mins with no response after saying "try it now" and it was still down so I waited...but I'm not waiting forever

look I'm not here to slam you guys, not the way I operate..if you had issues then fine..but I have to make biz decisions based on many factors...and I when I lose trust in a sponsor..for whatever reason...they are gone..simple as that..takse me seconds to do thanks to the wonders of php

the lady is customer support.

she is not accustomed to that sort of thing happening, she was trying to find out what was going on.

I do agree with not waiting for a long time.
