Well couple the sig whoring with networking.... Take Juicy for example. How many FleshLight affiliates does he have under him? Did his sig whoring help get to that point? I'm guessing between 1500 and 2000 affilaues by Juicy alone.

Ok, that was a pretty good one :winkwink: . But in all seriousness, I have never been paid for any of my sigs. The only reason I have almost 1800 posts since Nov. 05 is because I try to be an active part of this community; it's only 17 posts per day (or a little over 1 post per hour while I'm at the studio). I don't understand the people that post crap on here just because they are getting paid for sig impressions or even for PPC; they can't be making enough to justify all of the time it wastes, can they?

For me it would be just empty space under my posts.I don't need to advertise my TGP'S/MGP'S so it's available.I like posting here so why not get paid for it.It's all good

Nope, I don't get paid for it. I just think Reak is a good guy and has a good program. I know how hard it can be just starting out and I'm happy to help out by advertising for them. I have never charged for anything that I have ever done for anyone on this board. :)

That's a valid point and well taken. I guess what I define as a "sigwhore" are usually the people that only post for the money. The way I look at it is if tomorrow all sigs and board spamming were banned on GFY, the sigwhores are the ones that would stop posting here.

Damn! Ok, now that I can understand. I mean, I can see how you could actually make a decent amount of money doing something like that. But the ones like KlikRev that only make like a nickle or less? Just seems like too much for too little.

Yes I would.I was posting about that when I first came here.I would continue posting even if nobody was purchasing space anymore.It's a form of entertainment and to kill some time.I just consider sig money,beer money.Nothing wrong with some extra dollars for ad space that would remain blank.
