Does anyone have ideas about best blogging software?

I'm trying to use typead and wordpress, but they have stupid protection against SPAM and now I have 6000 comments in 'waiting approval' status.

What blogging software do you use?

I use wordpress, so that's all I can comment on.

In the admin area you can turn off spam protection and you can set comments to post without moderation. I don't use the built in spam filter. I use Spam Karma 2 plugin. It does a great job of sorting out real comments from spam. Very rare does it ask me to moderate a comment. Also, it sends me a daily report on all spam filtered, and an immediate report on all comments it has approved. I love it!
