How many models would be brave to shoot with no makeup (pics)
 

We had been asked a lot to do a shoot with a model with absolutely no makeup, as our members seem to love the really natural look. Well our model of the year volunteered, and we think she looks great. How many others would be brave enough to go infront of the camera without the war paint!

Very few women can carry off the no makeup look. This model seems to carry it off well!

One piece of advice:

Use the patch tool on PhotoShop to circle and drag away the very small bags under her eyes. Members won't have a clue they were ever there to begin with. They don't need to be left to make her look "natural". Every girl has them, but taking them away makes an enormous difference. I'll show you what I mean in a minute...

More girls should go natural. It's a lot sexier with that I've been fucking all night long morning after look.

I rather shoot casting pics .. sans Make up .. if the girl still seems atractive, I call them back for a Portfolio Casting shoot ... with make up

Cleaning up the eyes still keeps the photos natural but takes a few years off the model's appearance.

I think she looks better without. :)

It's a little trick I was taught by gfy user bmb. Brian is really good at figuring out the best way to present a model. And it's so simple. 4th button down on the left in Photoshop versions 7.0 and above. "Patch Tool". Circle bags, drag to a spot right below them, release. :)

Those are glands. I think they're sexy. :) They're called "Montgomery Glands". They contain a lubricant to keep the nipple and areola from drying, cracking, or becoming infected, particularly when breast feeding.

How could you never have seen anything like that before?

Thats pretty neat what Donny did. A simply thing like that and she looks 100% better. Not that she looked bad in the first place.

The pictures are trashed once you remove the SMILE lines from under her eyes. You only remove them to correct a picture when they have, black bags, sleep bags, a black eye.. and so on, not when they are smile lines, it takes away the photo personality.

I shoot without makeup all the time.

But it doesn't matter much...since generally I'm behind the lens.

Seriously, though - I'd have left the lines under the eyes the way they were. Mostly just personal preference...and I can't describe why. Perhaps they add some dimension and depth.

Shes super hot, I've always been into girls that wear very little to no makeup.

Ummm to me it looks like she's wearing some powder and light lipstick or tinted lipbalm. If she wasnt wearing powder her face would be shinier and lips look pink, like she's wearing someting really light though, like a lipbalm with some colour or something.

Anyways I'm not a model but a webmaster, and I wouldn't even go to the grocery store without makeup let alone in pics. I just went to MAC Cosmetics yesterday and bought a ton of stuff, plus there's a ton more I'm gonna get. I basically cannot live without makeup.

Seeing tons of pictures of girls she looks good without makeup, I find some girls think the more makeup I use the better which is not always true.

Alittle foundation is not bad, but some girls look better with less. I think it depends on the type of shoot too. But she doesnt look bad at all and I give her credit for doing it, not many girls walk outside thier door without makeup now a days.:winkwink:

Hey girlly- I was thinking of looking into MAC as well. I take it you were pleased with the application, etc? I have seen a few things on line about them but was curious if it is really worth the drive to the city (about 3.5 hrs) to test and buy.

Hehe... I've been wearing it for almost 8 years now... I've had my makeup done their at the counter, but I always do it myself usually for everyday. I recommend buying a lot of the brushes; their really good, I just bought the skunk 187 brush yesterday.... Yea, I do recommend it cause I think the quality is high. I think the most important thing is the brushes, if you invest a few hundred bucks in the brushes they will last for years, plus the application will be much better. I also have a lot of their lipglasses, a lot of their eyeshadows, I recommend the fluidline eyeliner because it lasts forever. their bronzers, Mineral skin finishes, I love it all. I wanted to buy the face primer too, but they ran out at the store so I'm gonna have to order it on-line.

They have reviews on all the Mac products, plus tutorials, and FOTD's (face of the day) so you can see pics of all the colours in action on people's faces (You have to register though to see the pics, but it's free). It's the ultimate place for all things MAC. Plus they always have swatches for new collections so you can see all the new colours. Also look at the traincase section, some of these girls are crazy and have like 6-7k worth of MAC, luckily I'm not that crazy... hehe

That sucks that they don't have MAC near you. Usually they should carry it at Maceys or Nordstroms. I'm lucky because I live near South Coast Plaza and they have a full MAC store in there too in addition to the counter at Nordstroms. I always feel like a kid in a candy store when i go there.

Also, try some of skin mineral finishes, it's great when applied with the 187 brush, it will make you glow like Jlo :winkwink:

Also read reviews on this site "makeupalley" just look for it in google, before you buy stuff, I NEVER buy anything at all without doing research now. That's one of the best makeup review site on-line, its' pretty huge.
