I actually record my tunes off digital music channels that come with my cable tv service.
The recordings are super clear, and I record them with this cheap ass tool.... http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ and then chop em up. The actual recording comes out mixed a little flat, so I throw the songs in the EQ and give them quick mix. Its alot of work, not as much as you probably think, but the songs are free and I dont have to worry about downloading something fucked up from a p2p client, or etc... |
if I didnt make it myself I prolly dl'ed it from limewire :)
|
my other job is at a radio station , so i made "backups of all the good shit that comes in "
on the net , its either winmx, ftps ,or torrent |
at one of the local music stores.
:thumbsup |
Soulseek is best for non-mainstream music. I usually get an album to get a gist of it and if I really like it then buy it.
