Rioters who take over embassies etc.
 

I don't understand how rioters can take over embassies and such. For instance I know every US embassy has a contingent of US Marines with guns whose purpose is to defend the sensitive data. I know they could mow down thousands of raiders in a few minutes at will. Why aren't they allowed to stand their ground and kill mother fuckers trying to raid their sovereign land (Embassy)? How do they take over government buildings?

Maybe I'm a mini-Hitler or something, but I'd just have them killed and then they'd stop trying to attack my embassy and learn their lesson, right?

Am I missing something?

i dont get it either, if the rioters are attacking violently to take over the embassy the gaurds should be allowed to gun the fuckers down

It was probably a Political decision that wasn't made by the people in the embassy. I'm hoping anyway! Personally, I say for every country that attacks an embassy every western country should just pull out all trade and support for them. Who gives a shit about gas prices.
You think if someone started attacking the Saudi, or Syrian Embassy in a western country that the cops wouldn't be there to bust heads? Bitch please these countries could stop the riots "if they wanted to!"

i agree kmanrox.. but then if that countries embassy does pop off and kill 300 rioters there might be some backlash.. media would eat it up and spit it out as "Country Kills 300 Innocent Protestors!" or something similar just to hit some headlines.

i say who cares... an embassy is sovereign to that nation (to my knowledge), and if some fuckers were raiding Florida you can bet your ass there'd be some dead twats lying on the beach...

US embassies are protected by a small contingent of US Marines who are lightly armed. They are not prepared to take on a few thousand rioters. Instead, they rely on fear and intimidation to prevent rioters from entering, looting, and setting fire to the place.

Shouldn't the unwarrented invasion of an embassy in a foreign country an act of war, being as the Embassy is really sovereign property of the respective government?
