I use vinyl, digital and cd

I am in the process of moving completely over the Ableton Live though, with a synth controller. That way I can load all my songs in and remix on the spot instead of having constraints of what is on the cd or record

right now I use vinyl, cd and traktor dj studio

as for turntable feel for mp3's, you can check out Serato Scratch live, but you need a turntable for that

there is also this new toy that just came out

yeah dude, those numark's are fucking expensive, if I were you and seriously thinking about it, I would wait about 6-8months, there will be 10 new models of that same deck made by 10 different manufacturers by the end of the year, and the price will go WAY down...so far Numark is the only one with a built in hard drive, but more will follow VERY soon

as for the price for admins, well, servergenius is $55 a month dude, you can't beat that for a full time admin...he will even wake up to phone calls in the middle of the night and fix shit

iguess 02-09-2006 10:25 PM

I would have said the AKAI MPC 4000 but ableton records audio. Looks interesting.

Man you kill two birds with a stone. That's wet shit telling me about that NUMARK DJX , Appreciated.

iguess 02-09-2006 10:30 PM

Yea you right. I know Technics, Pioneer, Gemini etc will all turn that door knob. I just love that hard drive plus that usb 2.0 for more.

ServerG sounds good he was saying that.

Acunett. Been with them for 2 years and their service level is AMAZING !

Have never dealt with a better company online OR offline.

abadfish 02-09-2006 10:37 PM

I had some horrible results with acunett in the past. My server started performing worse after they worked on it and it cost me even more money to correct the problems they created as I had to hire another company.

iguess 02-10-2006 12:02 AM

THUMP THUMP. Say more.

ServerGenius 02-10-2006 01:49 AM

Why not just try both after eachother for x period iguess and compare?
ServerGenius has a no question asked full money back guarantee in case
