The place where you used your virtual visa put through a pending authorization on your epassporte account. This means they have 30 days to either drop the authorization or process the transaction. If they do nothing, we must hold the pending authorization for a 30 day period. If you can contact the merchant and ask them to fax us a letter on company letter head stating they do not intend to process this transaction, we can remove the pending charge for you. Most gas stations in Canada hit your card twice. One clears and one sits as pending for the full 30 days. Canadian Tire, or any Shell Station works like this too. The charges always come off 30 days later but what a pain in the ass.

I spent the whole summer at the cottage and was paying outrageous prices at the local marina, which was a Shell outlet..On top of the ass fuckery i got frm paying the marina prices, they also charged me double everytime, i got it all back but ill never use the card at a gas station again, or Canadian Tire and Shell.

This wasnt a problem with the stations i used. After realizing it was happening i researched my transactions and it appears its the way visa processes for fuel purchases made in Canada.
