PHP programmer needed.

I know this top has been posted like 100 times a week. I've done some search and currently talking to a few programmers. But, I'm looking for a company that can take on a medium size project. pretty much building a community script from the ground up.

when this thread reaches 50 posts, you'll see a good programmer posting ;)

I would seriously look into Civicspace / Drupal offers, and use the framework for your community project.

i'd prefer to have the script I want designed from the ground up. limits the chance of bad coding and cleaning up of coding. That's if i get a excellent programmer to take on this project.

Cool, and I understand. If you end up needing a good solid framework to build on though, the ones I mentioned above have been around forever and are stable secure code. Good enough that Yahoo uses it themselves, as does The Onion, and Ourmedia.org. Also, Air America Radio. It has great SEO built-in from the start. It was one of the Google sponsored projects in their Summer of Code.

Yahoo said: "Ultimately, we chose Drupal because of its breadth of capabilities, powerful taxonomy, and extensibility."
