COX says the issues are resolved, GIVE FEEDBACK!

OK, if you are on Cox Communications Cable internet, let me know how the performance is looking here on GFY. :)

Subject: FW: COX issues resolved [PWC #670]

Cox reports they have resolved all known backbone issues to date. As a reminder, we still have the COX peer disabled for outbound traffic. I would like your approval to shift traffk back over to the COX link.

Perhaps you would like to start a new GFY thread and solicit performance feedback once the change is made? Let me know, I can do this at any time.

I'm still having issues, however, it is better.

Halcyon 02-09-2006 12:58 PM

I seem to be back to normal

Big Ray 02-10-2006 05:02 PM

Any probs?

candyflip 02-10-2006 05:04 PM

That would suck to have the last name Cox.

It appears the problem has returned.

What info explaining the problem should be given to Cox?

MaDalton 02-11-2006 06:26 AM

everything fast here...

XxXotic 02-11-2006 07:38 AM

cox blows. I'd give my left arm for another option around here for internet that wasn't shitty DSL

mikeyddddd 02-11-2006 09:19 AM

It helps to use a DNS that's not Cox.

DeanCapture 02-11-2006 09:22 AM

I haven't been able to log in since last night - then all of a sudden things are ok? Fucking strange :(

Rochard 02-11-2006 09:24 AM

I've been having no issues here for the past week or so; It's been business like normal. Thank you so much.

Zebra 02-11-2006 09:31 AM

Has been working fine since the fix, but I couldn't get in late last night.. I would load the address in the bar and then sit forever.
Working fine this morning though.

~Ray 02-11-2006 11:11 AM

it just started working good again

Much better than the previous few weeks although I couldn't get on last night once. Maybe not related?

Big Ray 02-11-2006 11:23 PM

Hey Folks,

Right now, we are working with the Sr. Network Engineers at COX to troubleshoot this. I can say that they are doing whatever they can do identify problems and fix them.

THEY NEED YOUR HELP.

If you have experienced slow load times and are on COX, PLEASE POST YOUR IP.

Dont know it? click here and post the results back to this thread.

http://www.jupiterhosting.com/ip.php

This will allow both COX and Jupiter to more thoroughly troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks for the help.
