I wish I knew what to use to make trade scripts work with wordpress.

I use a backup plugin coupled with a cron plugin.

The cron emails me a gz copy of the backup on a daily basis.

Wordpress is such a resource hog. I would never use it. :|

Doesn't require a database, uses flat text files, and looks nice. There is almost no setup - just unzip and copy.

only if you use the permalinks mod_rewrite option...

Does that plugin ping or do you have to ping manually?

I have the google site map plug in and it is great. Not hard to install, and worth the time.
