Signup for new programs? (business thread)

With the amount of new programs that appeared over the last 3 years I wonder if old webmasters actualy look into the new offerings or just stick with what they know/used over the years.

I check out everything new that comes out, i might only promote one site from a new sponsor with 30 sites, but it's always good to keep an eye on what's hot.

But that does raises other problems:

- What if that sponsor sucks (worst case scenario) and doesn't convert at all;

- By dividing your traffic among many programs you are eventualy not maximizing the results with the top converting/netting ones;

- The time and resources used to setup a whole new "gig" to push that new site;

I very rarely look at new programs, see no reason to

I very often will look over the affiliate website, read the TOS and check out the site list. If something *really* grabs my attention with a few tours I might have traffic for and it's decent payout with fairly low minimum payouts, then I might join so I can try for a sale or two and see how it does.

I always check the new ones.

Fresh sites do well usually.

I almost always look at the new programs coming out. If anything they have to offer looks good I will try them out. If they don't work I move on.

fuzebox 02-09-2006 03:32 PM

I always check out every new program, if I like their tours I signup and send... I'm very fussy about what sort of sites I send traffic to and am always looking for something fresh.

I've allways prefered the new programs over the established ones and naturally even more now when I've got my own new program :winkwink:
