The problem here is that they signed up to recieve mail from your service, not anyone you sell the list to. They didn't opt-in to recieve mail from the 10 people you sell to, thus anyone other than you sending mail to them is spamming.

Usually it's .02 an email unless you have a mass amount...you would think with all that spamming you do the list would be more than 4k...
