Putty or Secure CRT
See who the real webmasters are ;-)
I like CRT better.. You can't beat free though |
I don't know if I'm a real webmaster but I like Secure CRT more.
I use CRT too.
crt is better

CRT all the way ..................It's not even close IMHO:2 cents:
CRT all the way!
neither.. install cygwin and use openssh from the command prompt.. plus most of the other GNU tools you would find on a typical linux machine

Secure CRT is the shit ;)
ALT-E DOWN RETURN SecureCRT all the way!!

SecureCRT is free you just got to go back to ver 3.4.4 and use the keygen! |

Neither, F-Secure
I use both but I prefer CRT by far...
I can't stand SecureCRT, it's so clumsy. PuTTY emulates a real X11 terminal, stuff like pageup+down is sent properly, select+click paste works, the ansi emulation is there... I can actually get work done with PuTTY if I'm stuck on a windows box.
secure CRT
I like putty lots. Especially when it's in fullscreen, acting like a real console
Secure CRT is soooo much fun!
well putty is good if you're on someone elses computer because you can just grab it and run it. But for everyday work the tabs in SecureCRT are awesome so u can have all your boxes open in one window.

I've owned CRT since '98. Never liked it, too bulky. I use putty when forced to a windows box, but mostly I just use openssh.
putty works for me, been with it for 4 years
putty is great :)
Tomud |
putty and winscp
putty nigguh. its FREE =P
i'll go with the bandwagon... i vote for secure CRT
Putty, Pageant, and PSFTP
putty is free and easily portable.. don't leave home without it
Wtf is this CRT thing? I've always used putty, gotta check that out.
good thing you didn't make this a poll....
putty > crt |
Whoever uses Putty, should use Pageant too in order to use password protected keys to authenticate to your server. More secure than just using a password.
PuTTY > SecureCRT.
'nuff said. :pimp |
WinSCP
what did i win? |
putty .. thats on my wintendo usb stick.
for the rest openssh, ssh-portable :) secureCRT nice proggy .. but too much crap for just a ssh client with option for compress |

and Allow_user $me and wrappers for sshd for my ips and a firewall that only allows my ips (with sniffing and tripwirestuff) that enough? |
