I like CRT better.. You can't beat free though

I don't know if I'm a real webmaster but I like Secure CRT more.

I use CRT too.

I use both but I prefer CRT by far...

I can't stand SecureCRT, it's so clumsy. PuTTY emulates a real X11 terminal, stuff like pageup+down is sent properly, select+click paste works, the ansi emulation is there... I can actually get work done with PuTTY if I'm stuck on a windows box.

well putty is good if you're on someone elses computer because you can just grab it and run it. But for everyday work the tabs in SecureCRT are awesome so u can have all your boxes open in one window.

I've owned CRT since '98. Never liked it, too bulky. I use putty when forced to a windows box, but mostly I just use openssh.

putty works for me, been with it for 4 years

Whoever uses Putty, should use Pageant too in order to use password protected keys to authenticate to your server. More secure than just using a password.

PuTTY > SecureCRT.

secureCRT nice proggy .. but too much crap for just a ssh client with option for compress

i just use sshkeys.. is that allright too :winkwink:
