The only difference i see, is that tattooes people could give a hell less if someone else is tattooed.

I have zero tats, not the kinda guy for them, although Ive seen some pretty cool ones and sleeves are fucking awesome.

But you should see the gym and all the guys who have the barbed wire or the mystical back tat on 99% of the girls. They get some chinese sign tattood they dont even know what it is.

Hahaha I have a japanese sign on the back of my neck, was done several years ago when I was not THAT cool ;-) I was glad to find out that it scared a japanese women in the plane and she told me that tatt ment "Crazy/Insane" for this is what I actually paid for :1orglaugh

It's the only tattoo I got from a book, the other 12 i have comes from me and the artist chatting, getting to know each other and coming up with something original

you guys know of any cool tatoo communities? myspace use to be cool..but a dedicated tats site would be nice...plus girls with tats are ripe hot for the pickin'

Tattoos rock, but I must say if you are getting a tattoo DO THE RESEARCH, know what it symbolizes and make sure you are ok with it being with you until you die. I have Chinese symbols and I know what they mean. I cannot imagine getting inked and not knowing what it means.

LOL I totally understand where you're coming from! Barbed wire and arm bands in general are fucking GHEY on men, IMO. It's the bandwagon and lack of imagination mentality (in most cases). And anyone that gets chinese characters on them or anyother text should bloody well research to make sure they are getting what they are asking for. Nothing like a symbol that means "drycleaner" lol.

YES nico, and if you are like me a visionnary (however the fuck you spell that) Then find an artist you can go have a beer with or that makes you real compfortable, describe what you want and see what he comes up with.

It's a great way to actually find out if the artist you dealing with does it only for cash or does it cause he/she's a REAL Artist.

I have decline a few just cause my feelings where not there. But if it clicks, then it's inked time and I ususally get away with a master piece:pimp

I did my back in 7 days, 13 hours first 2 days, 1 day off, 6 hours next day, 1 day off, 7 hours next day. then 2 months later 5 hours for touch ups. does that count as a tattoo?

I've also had 2 ppl tattoo me at one time

I just have one, I didn't get it because it was "a tattoo" to be "cool" etc... I rarely show it to people, I just thought it was a hell of a lot of fun and it makes me smile whenever I see it in the mirror.
