Win 2k Pro...Worth a shit?
 

I've been using XP for the past 6 months, and I've gradually come to hate it. There is so much worthless shit on here such as the fucking animated dog on the search function, what the fuck would anyone ever need that for??! Unreal.

Should I go buy Win 2k Pro, or save my $200?

XP runs smoothly on all my machines (except my macs) but I havent had a hiccup since I installed XP, no blue screen or anything...some of the features need to be disabled though..but it runs smoother than 2k Pro IMHO

I tweaked it down pretty good over the months, but last week after I installed DIVX 5.0, the system needed to restart...and it never booted back up. It was stuck in a constant re-boot cycle, and believe me, I tried everything. I had to over-write the installation and now everything is fucked. I've got too much shit to format c:

jeeez..i can't even draw a select box in xp without the alpha from the selection area making my cpu go spastic

i've used xp... and i choose win2k.. i've had people say xp is the go.. and others just how much slower xp is to do the same thing. when i got my new machine i went for win2k.....

win2k is the best

2k Pro kicks ass... Been using it happily for over a year. Runs like a charm for me!

2kpro is nice to me...but I've never tried XP.

I used XP for a couple of months and hated it. It seems like it was built for the braindead AOL user. If you want to get some real work done, use Win 2k. Nothing compares as far as stability goes. XP is decent if you want to play games as Win2k lacks some of the multimedia support that XP has. That's no big deal for me. I use this computer to WORK, not play.

2kpro = work
XP = home
9x/ME = Id rather stick a fork in my hand

win2k is best so far, until they unfuck XP

:thumbsup XP best for LCD monitors cause it shows fonts better than all prev windows.

i took xp off for win2k....explorer was crashing all the time. after installing the updates for win2k its just as bad....fuck ms and their patches.
