just got back from a funeral
 

a good buddy of mine ( a police officer) was killed in the line of duty on my birthday.. he called me about 1:20pm on the first of feb and wished me a happy birthday.. when he was on the phone with me he got a 417 call which is a domestic to a house.. so he arrived on scene was ambushed and killed.. around the corner from my house.. what really sucks is he was headed over to my house when he got the call... sad sad sad.... the dood that shot him was a wanna be rapper from her in las vegas.. here is his myspace page... http://www.myspace.com/desertmobb The suspect was also killed by a gang unit officer that happend to be driving and heard it on the scanner.. I also heard the action take place on the scanner... sad sad sad.. what made me think of it was there was an open casket... when I die if they have an open casket for me I will haunt them....

was a good friend and a great sgt for the LVMPD he was a religious person as well which was wierd because I am not... and I film filth and he hates porn... but never judged me and we hung out at least once a week for the past 4 years...

The coverage, especially of the procession down the strip was amazing. The huge signs in front of the major casinos all had tributes to him, in place of "ads", and to see the trip down the strip of the hundreds and hundreds of vehicles, was just a stunning tribute to him.

It's sad to have something like this happen here....
