btw i checked Dotster and they don't offer .eu yet, so it must be pre-registration, if not, everyone would be talking about today on GFY

European Lee 02-07-2006 01:35 PM

I think they arent available for general purchase until sometime in April.

Regards,

Lee

btw i should truly read more about .eu... when .info and .biz were introduced 4 years ago i spent lots of time and opened like 30 registrar accounts to pre-registem them , but didnt get anything valuable in the final draw cause of scammers with bogus trademarks who abused the system

Relish XXX 02-07-2006 01:59 PM

I am sure it is pre registration as I just checked with my account where I pre registered them and it is coming up that they are not available yet.

everestcash 02-07-2006 02:18 PM

everybody uses .com anyway, and you have to live/have a registered entity there to get a .eu domain

Big Red Machine 02-07-2006 03:11 PM

I hear GoDaddy domains get jacked

DutchTeenCash 02-07-2006 03:14 PM

When you first queued the domains you wanted to buy, you would have had a listing for each one - This being 1-5 /1-5 (1-1 means you were first to select that domain, then as time went on, that would usually go from 1-1 up to 1-5 as they allowed a maximum of 5 people to list each domain - Then obviously number 1 gets first choice and so on).
So, if the ones you pre-registered where #1's, you will most likely get them - I pre-registered all the #1's I had - Good news is, that if you don't get them, any cash you paid is returned.

? I registered two one-word infos many moths after the registration opened, and the reason I didn't register more was that I was too lazy to check out what was availible

Europen Lee is correct, last I read .eu will be open for registration sometime in April
