My latest Gallery Template

Was submitted to all the usual (by hand, of course) without a single acceptance. I'd really like your input on what to change about it.

Things I have been told so far.

(1) Use CSS for the text banners - to be honest, I was in photoshop and banged them out at the same time I did the background.

(2) Take the text out of the form box and put it actually in a table cell with a span class.

(3) An eye-catching banner or two.

Three on the main page with the filter at the bottom. Maybe remove that and link it to an FPA instead?

The page doesnt load all, many thumbs are broken...Maybe a host problem you should check...
Also tgp owners hate tens of sponsor links, just remove the bottom links and add another "join" button

If you are having a problem getting listed with the tgps then it is probably...

1. Most hate the 4 free sites, free passwords, etc...
2. Most want a max of 1 sponsor link per 5 thumbs with many of the bigger ones wanting only two links per page max.
3. Takes a while to get listed someplaces, I'm sure you know. Especially if you are submitting to the ones you do by hand.

Loaded fine and looks good though.

IMO -

To many pictures, you only need 15... and at the bottom remove the links to the sponsors, that will probably help you get listed.

i like both the galleries by railz and darkjedi

but as was mentioned some TGP's won't accept your gallery railz because of having 8 sponsor links (all to the same sponsor but to different sites within) and because of using the word "free"

the gallery is clean and the sponsor links do not interfere with the quality of the page so i would have no problems listing this type of layout

and i don't understand why no one is listing your gallery darkjedi

No, it doesn't. Maybe there is some kind of network trouble going on today, but I normally do not have connection problems. over 1/2 of his thumbs do not load.

Lose the links to all the different sites on the bottom. If Brownie script is set to calculate % of outgoing links, your page won't pass. You can easily use a LARGE link(text/banner) to replace them, and filter them to a FPA which will do the same job, and give you exit traffic you can use any way you want (I suggest no blur/enter consoles on FPA's fed by TGP galleries, it might appear to be an exit off the gallery to a reviewer)

Also, I can't see why the LSU gallery did not get linked. When did you submit it? A few days ago, a week ago, last night? It should be listed, it's a nice looking page. Can be either teen, amateur, or voyeur.

I'm thinking then that there's some kind of network issue. If you could post a tracert from dos or ICQ it to me, that would be a big help. I'm hosted with ISPrime.

youre right.
you cant use an exit pop on your galleries.
however, instead of sponsors, you can send your hits to a full page ad with as many links you want.
there you can add an exit chain.

and i dont know what these people are smokin cuz your gallery is nice.
maybe you could get rid of some of the pics cuz they seem too repetitive.

Nice template, bud:thumbsup I agree with DarkJedi that you should only need 15 pics max.

Most TGPs use a script for a "pre filter" . This checks the number of pix, the numer of links to ads, a recip check (if required) cross reference to the blacklist, a previously submitted cross reference etc, etc..

With 10 links to ads, most scripts will delete your gallery before the webmaster even sees it.

Railz, that's a nice layout and a good sales pitch :thumbsup

You get their attention, but not in an obnoxious way, and nothing is linked to the sponsor until you get past the first set of thumbs which makes TGP owners happy.

The money bar at the bottom is probably what's hurting you, just a link that says "click here to see all of the categories" or something like that should do the trick, and link that to a jump page with all of those links on it.

Of course having "network issues" doesn't help either, but that should get listed and should make some $$ if you lose the table at the bottom. :thumbsup
