Why do some idiot members threaten to sue if you don't cancel their account for them?
 

How fucking hard is it to ask nicely or figure out how to do it yourself? I swear, every week some douchebag member says he wants his account cancelled and threatens to sue if he is charged again. I can see the case in court now:

Plantiff: "Yes Judge, I am seeking damages in the amount of $24.95 becuase my subscription to cumdumpsters.com was rebilled automatically even though it said that it would when I joined and it clearly stated how to cancel in the email I got"

It's because they don't know fuck all about the legal system. I have had members say they have retained a lawyer, call the police, better business bureau, blah, blah, blah.

I just answer their email by starting with.. your credit card will not be billed again and you membership is good until... "enter date".

Most seem happy with that and I never hear from them again.

My membership has not been cancelled and my username and password are not working to access the site. please advise what is wrong and since i am still being billed for this and have not been able to access for over 1 month, i will expect a refund back to my credit card.

I wrote him back with his password which worked the whole time, he was just entering the wrong USERNAME, and told him that it's not our fault that he waited a whole month to contact us.

Fuck, that'd be like having your car in the shop for a month, and telling the finance company you want last months payment back, because you couldnt' drive the car..

its perfectly reasonable for a person to say their going to sue you if you dont cancel their membership , because its fairly obvious they cant cancel their membership or there wouldnt be any point in them sending you the email in the first place..

its NOT reasonable if they are given clear instructions on how to do so.. "an email" isnt enough, email hits filters personal and corporate

I havent seen many join pages around that dont list a biller , and they all have cancel instructions

We welcome your lawsuit with open arms you see in our business all publicity is good publicity. However when the case comes up in front of your local judge the publicity for you on a local level may not be so welcome.
