The equivilant in the UK, The House Of Lords, used to be much worse when you had the heriditary Lords in there. Some of them were so drunk all the time they didnt know the name of the primeminister. A guy did an expose of the behaviour of them and they were made unable to vote due to their loser behaviour. The only one I respected was Jaime Lee Curtis (Yes she is a Lady as she married the lead singer from Spinal Tap who is a Lord).

Public service is a public trust... But for these matters, I don't think Congress deserves our trust.
