Kiev Trip ++++ PICS ++++
 

Just got back from 2 weeks in Kiev, though I picked the wrong time to visit: They were in a deep freeze the first week or so.

If you've never been to the Ukraine or other former CIS countries, I'd highly recommend it - in the Spring or Summer! They have some of the most amazing architecture, monuments and historical attractions anywhere. I was only sorry I didn't see the rest of the country - they have a long history of conflict and there are incredible castles, fortresses, etc. that are hundreds of years old.

Oh, and as for the women: I haven't been to every country on the planet - not even close to half - but without a doubt, Ukraine has the most stunningly beautiful women I've ever seen, by a wide margin.

If you like the Jessica Simpson American blonde look, they are likely not to your tastes. But for those of us who love the Eastern European look, you'll be in heaven. Trust me.

I would definetly like to go back in the Spring/Summer - much better for seeing the numerous (and massive) parks as well as some of the castles and historical sites across the country.

I'd love to visit there sometime soon. While I'm still young. I saw some of the most beautiful women in Czech Rep., Slovakia, etc...

In the Ukraine, "good" and "agency" seldom go together!
Seriously though, I'm not sure what to say ... I'm not from there so I don't know enough to tell you anything worthwhile.

They just had their first Ukrainian Penthouse pet (or Playboy, can't remember) coming soon, so they might finally start getting some international intention.
Get in before everyone else does - you won't be sorry!

I haven't been there - yet - but my ex-gf was from Riga and she was gorgeous. She looked like a gypsy with long, long jet-black hair and big, beautiful eyes.

We plan to go once our son is old enough to remember what he sees and learns about.

makes me want to visit that country, but maybe when the snow are all gone.

"Everything is illuminated"... the DVD just came out...the whole thing is filmed in Ukraine (well, like 90% of it)... and it's really a KICKASS flick...

Huh??? In what way? Because it looks cold?
Believe me, there is NOTHING similar about Kiev and Buffalo - I've been to both.

The home of the Bills is a dump with nothing even remotely interesting to see or do. (Besides, it's also on the wrong side of the lake!)

Also visited a few museums including the Chernobyl exhibit. A very sobering a sad thing with hundreds of photos of children, residents and reactor workers who died.
