They make some pretty pimp pens.

I used them all the time when I was in sales. I always felt like it helped a little bit in getting the customer to sign

Nice. I have always admired nice pens but never indulged. I find it hard to justify. Perhaps when I do direct to client stuff, perhaps.

I have a Mont Blanc pen and it's alright. It's flashy and feels nice in my hand, but I always end up using Bic pens because I'm afraid of losing it. I much prefer Bic pens over the Mont Blanc in terms of the way they write, too.

the 3 reasons pushing me to buying this pen:

1) a little too much in my paypal account at this time, would like to reduce the funds

2) I will be using it in school, about 2 days a week. That's major points with the girls in class! :Graucho

3) It can be kept for many years as long as the condition is still good, and the design will not run out of style any time soon

I can't stand regular pens. They have failed on me COUNTLESS times, I usually prefer a pencil! Buying this nice pen might therefore be a nice thing, although a bit overpriced!

Id buy one, but i'd lose it within a week! :)

It's a nice pen, my biggest complaint is that the ball doesn't roll smoothly enough. It feels like there's too much friction, as if it's using an ink that's too thick.

What I love about the Bic pens is that the thing just glides over paper. As far as pens failing, I wouldn't consider this to be more reliable. Just like how a Ferrari isn't more reliable than a Honda. :) The Bic is the Honda.

They are a fantastic pen.

I always found regular bic pens to be much better for taking notes and writing fast. I tried a mont blanc pen and it just didn't feel good writing fast.

$300 on a pen is just dumb. Your too concerned with dumb superficial shit in your neverending effort to impress your peers.

Get a simple Parker Jotter instead. It looks simple and stylish, will last a lifetime, and costs only a fraction of what you're planning to spend.

lol @ the people complaining about him buying a 300$ pen . I'm NOT a player and I can spend that much in one night in a club... a pen, if you are using it often, is way more usefull then a fucking night in the club.

Some people pay $50 000 for their watch, bdjuf pay 300 for his pen ... no biggie.

My friend's father collect lighters and he's paid up to couple grand for a single one.

Do you use a pen that often? I think I only use mine to sign checks. That's great if you write a lot with it, I just don't think I'd ever use it.

Oh, also. I hope you're more careful than me. I buy about 20 pens per month.. I have no idea where they go. I would imagine that I find them when my place is cleaned, but no.. they just vanish. I've bought hundreds of pens the past few years....and when I need one, I can't find it.

Wow! Mont Blanc is my dream pen... For now, I have to bear with my Parker Jotter.

Even if he uses it ... it's a waste of money... because bic pens will be better for sure.

If anybody buy a 300k$ car, it's a waste of money, same goes for designer clothes, a bigger house then you need... etc etc etc.

$300 for a Mont Blanc isn't that bad. I saw some fountain pens the other day for over $3k... now we're talking about sophisticated writing tools.
