What if you want to use the mouse and talk on the phone at the same time?

Maybe 2 options:

1) The laptop's built in mouse will kick in if you disconnect the phone/mouse to answer a call OR

2) Maybe the phone has a speaker phone function that works while you're using the mouse.

I'm not exactly sure, it depends on the spec sheet of the phone/mouse :)

PixeLs 02-06-2006 10:46 PM

Kick ass gadgets. That mouse/cellphone sounds great but sucks if you can only use one at a time.

BigRod 02-06-2006 10:49 PM

Those are sweet toys :P

Promo Chicks 02-06-2006 10:54 PM

Im getting this for my upcoming trips to Honk Kong and Tokyo. Dump my CF card while out taking pics, and watching lots of movies on the 12 hour plane ride :thumbsup

Exactly! You're fucked!

Also...the wallet USB sucks ass. It'll break easily.
And the small drive..well, nice, but so small you might easily lose it.

So....all in all not realy good gadgets imho

Yeah that can be nice. Any idea how much storage?

BiggleJones 02-06-2006 11:01 PM

I like the way that mouse looks, but I always am using my comp while Im on the phone, so it would make it a little difficult

I carry my wallet in my jacket or inside the blazer and not in the back pocket, so it rarely gets sat on.

and the small drive might be easily to lose, but then again, anything small is easy to lose.

I guess your gf wont be getting diamond earings eh? :winkwink:

Women pay MUCH more attention to diamon earings than guys do to small USB sticks.

And ehm, yeah, you might carry your wallet in your jacket, but what if it gets stolen? Wallets are popular targets.

And you just KNOW that card will have nude pics of you wearing ladies underwear on it... Guess where they'll end up :winkwink:

Its the Creative Zen: Vision. It average's for about $400 online...a couple places have it for $375. One of the good things about this PMP is that its got replaceable batteries, so I can get a couple extra to last me the long plane ride.

Amazing gadgets... Just wondering how amazing their prices would be?

Doctor Dre 02-07-2006 02:42 AM

The phone/mouse is pretty fucking stupid... I often do both at the same time.

emthree 02-07-2006 04:00 AM

That creative zen is looking pretty pimp.
I have to look into getting one now.

Your mother calling you while you are jerking off to porn could be a 'sticky' situation (pun fully intended!) :1orglaugh

Gadget of the month from teh kewlest russian design studio
url: artlebedev.com/portfolio/optimus-mini

Quote:

Optimus mini is an auxiliary keyboard with three keys, each complete with an OLED screen displaying the current function.

The keyboard is placed either horizontally or vertically: the images displayed on the keys are turned using the Optimus Configurator software.

Optimus mini is a blank sheet. Its hard to say what a usual monitor is worth until you open an image on it. The same goes for Optimus mini: the more plugins that support applications there are for Optimus Configurator, the more indispensable is the keyboard for daily use.

The support of applications depends on whether these applicationshahaha8217; codes are open and whether there are plugins. The basic set of plugins is part of the standard package, however, we expect professionals and amateurs from all over the world to write most of them.

Optimus Configurator for Windows is now being completed. The keyboardhahaha8217;s work under other operating systems is just a matter of time. Any programmer can connect Optimus mini to a computer with a USB port and set about creating his or her own configurator.
sorry cant post picture
