Calling all REDNECKS!!!!
 

I need some redneck advice.... I have a jeep wrangler sitting out in the driveway that I want to put 35' mudders on. Right now everything is stock so I am left with a world of options. I need around 6 to 8 inches of lift to properly put 35" tires on it. I ordered a 4" suspension lift last week and now friends who are perhaps more redneck then I are telling me that I should have went with a spring over instead of a suspension lift. Some people are suggesting that I do both, which is not a problem to me.. However there are also people saying that I will regret doing both. I'm just open to suggestions on this and perhaps there are one or two of you who have a lifted wrangler with 35" mudders that could give me a few tips.

BTW: Of course all redneck photos are welcome and encouraged in this thread as well.

If you get the 4" lift you will have all the stuff you need to put it together and function.
With just a spring over you will have to modify driveline length/angles, steering parts (dropped pitman and trackbar) and shocks.
Plenty of jeeps around here with 35's and they dont have 6"-8" of lift, most
just have a 4", much more and you will start to get your center of gravity to high for such a short wheelbase.
