What kind of SUV/Truck should I get?

Well I think its that time.. My 98 chevy blazer just blew the tranny this afternoon while my wife went to lunch... So I think I might trade it in..

What should I get? I need something that can tow a 3k pound boat, but yet a woman can still drive.

Either a truck or suv perferably....

2006 Jeep SRT8 Grand Cherokee.

http://www.jeep.com/autoshow/grand_c...rt8/index.html

Powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI producing 415 horsepower (85 more horses and 25 percent more power than the 5.7-liter HEMI-equipped 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee) and 410 lb.-ft. of torque, the all-new 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8's performance numbers include 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds, 0-100-0 mph in the low 19-second range, and 60-0 mph braking distance of approximately 125 feet.

Hoping to get one of these myself. :thumbsup

I'm looking at a new Pathfinder. Lots of SUV for the money and I had one before that was completely trouble free.

I WON'T be driving another American car unless I win it ;)

Sosa 02-06-2006 02:25 PM

the 07 escalade looks hot. They are just starting to be released to dealerships. Price went on them from previous years I have read though.

shermo 02-06-2006 02:26 PM

Wow... That Jeep looks pretty badass... Go for that!

Almost got the LandRover LR3 top of the line last week, good thing I drove it, hated the ride, back to searching:winkwink:

Nydahl 02-06-2006 02:33 PM

Porsche is a good choise even its has overloaded engine and it cause problems with transmission very often

Big Red Machine 02-06-2006 02:57 PM

Well if you don't feel like dropping all the $ everyone here wants you to. My buddy got a new F-150 Lariat its pretty sweet the interior is similar to an Escalade now. Plus it has the power to pull. Or the new explorer is nice and probably more fitting if your lady would need to drive it

J-$ 02-06-2006 02:59 PM

What's wrong with the Chevy?? I'd suggest the Tahoe/Sub...

Raven 02-06-2006 03:01 PM

I like the Escolade for an SUV and the Nissan Titan is one of the sexiest trucks I've ever seen.

brand0n 02-06-2006 03:13 PM

Do you have any pics of your mustang?
Is it the mach 1 thing?

Mr Pheer 02-06-2006 03:32 PM

I've got the 2005 Ford F150 FX4. Full leather, sunroof, captains chairs, center console, cruise, 6 disc changer/MP3 player, electric sliding rear window, 4 wheel drive, its as fully loaded as i could get it. its my first Ford and so far i've been pretty happy with it. Its a 4 door truck but they also make it with 4 fullsize doors which gives a really big back seat area.

And just to give an idea of its size... parked right on the other side of it is my wife's toyota sienna minivan, and you can barely see it thru my truck windows :)

lol, thats a given! cant expect much from a car that comes out of the UK. especially now, since ford owns it.

Wizzo 02-06-2006 03:50 PM

My 04 Tahoe is favorite car all time... :pimp

C_U_Next_Tuesday 02-06-2006 04:12 PM

GMC Denali.. mine will tow anything and still drive like a cadillac

TroubleTonya 02-06-2006 04:57 PM

Go Toyota no matter if you pick truck or SUV you are a winner. These vehicles run for ever and all you gotta do is show them a little love now and then. I have had ONLY Toyota vehicles for the last 10 years and they never let me down.
