I was talking to Spunky today and looking over his stuff. He has a portal site that affiliates can send traffic to:

I think this is great.

Also, I'm surprised that more companies aren't putting up blogs that affiliates can send traffic to. So far I know Twisted Cash does it, but I haven't seen anyone else doing it.

I think these are great ideas and I'm surprsied more of us aren't doing stuff like this!

We have blogs setup as well, and I personally hope to implement more tools down the road.

For now, though - we have http://www.mynaughtyblog.com/ which affiliates can utilize for whatever blogging purposes they may need.

In another vein, we have http://www.hundiespromo.com/ as a blog-type for our affiliates to stay updated with what promotional tools are released and when.

Why do all my ideas get leaked before I can get them going.

The example I listed above is a portal site. Meaning I can just dump traffic to it using my affiliate code.

Twisted Cash has blogs for all of their sites, which I love. I put up a link to their blog and get sales. Nice.

After thinking about it, Lightspeed Cash also has a TGP like site that affliates can send traffic to.

I like seeing these things - new ideas and new places to send traffic to. I'm really surprised that more solo girl sites don't have blogs.

I very much agree with you ... it gives a very personal touch and a good way to promote. Like I said Mayor's Money has it for Brooke's, I'm wondering when they will it have it for all. And when it will catch on for the rest. We've thought about it for when we launch a couple of our new sites ... a lot of maintenance though. Gotta weigh it out....see how many webmasters really prefer this method.

I think we'll see more content-owner-operated blogs doing this in the near future. So far, though, none of the content owners has hired a real blogger to write a good blog in a readable human voice, yet. All the ones I've seen so far have been pretty lame.
